Rihanna is already known for her major role
in the music industry and she already inspires thousands of young girls with
her controversial style, but now Rihanna's
impact on fashion will be officially recognized by the industry, as she will be
receiving the Fashion Icon Award from the Council of Fashion Designers of
America.
Rihanna isn’t the only person to grab herself this
award she has company such as past recipients of the award include fashion
icons Kate Moss, Lady Gaga and Iman. She will receive the prize at the
annual ceremony on June 2, which will take place at Lincoln
Centre's Alice Tully Hall in New York.
